Life...

Do any of you ever feel like life is happening all around you, but you are just an observer? That's how I feel right now in this stage of my life. Limbo with everything: job, house, location, LIFE. Like everyone else has their life all figured out except me...

Am I the only one that ever feels this way?

Absolutely not! I have no idea what is going to happen next week, let alone next year!

I know you are ready to be settled though - praying your house will sell soon!

Just remember...SOMEONE has your life ALL figured out. When you feel like YOU don't, it's nice to know that HE does. Will be praying for ya to get more settled though; I know it's hard!

You are a beautiful person with so much to give to the world. And you touch lives wherever you go. Those who love you most hope you find that which truly brings you joy and purpose. Find a place in your life where your passions and your talents intersect with the needs of the world.

I found a few quotes which speak to me. Hopefully, they serve as salve for your pain as well.

“Many a man gets weary of clamping down on his rough impulses, which if given occasional release would encourage the living of life with salt in it, in place of dust.” ~Henry S. Haskins

“Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.” ~Sydney J. Harris

“Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite. Or waiting around for Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break or a string of pearls or a pair of pants or a wig with curls or another chance. Everyone is just waiting.” ~Dr. Seuss

I feel the same way sometimes. Actually, alot. It's not fun.

And, yet, I do know God's put me here for a SPECIFIC reason. The fact that it's there, even though I haven't quite figured it all out yet, is not only comforting, it's exciting, too.

I'll be praying for you (and Scott...as I always am!). Please return the favor...
